The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) management has announced an immediate shutdown of all academic activities due to the planned nationwide protest scheduled for August 1, 2024.
The management’s decision aims to ensure the safety of students’ lives amidst the anticipated demonstrations.
Effective Tuesday, July 30, 2024, all lectures, examinations, tests, and other academic activities will be suspended for two weeks.
Students are advised to vacate their halls of residence immediately, and normal academic activities will resume on Monday, August 12, 2024.
The shutdown is a precautionary measure to protect students from potential harm during the protests.
