AAUW Career Development Grants 2025/2026 – All you need to know and how to apply.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is now accepting applications for the Career Development Grants 2025/2026.

This prestigious grant supports women’s career progression by providing funding for advanced degrees, certifications, or specialized training in education, health and medicine, STEM, and social sciences.

Eligibility:

1. U.S. citizens or permanent residents
2. Women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials
3. Enrolled in an accredited U.S. institution
4. Demonstrated resilience in overcoming life challenges (preferred)

Awards:

1. Up to $20,000 for degree programs
2. Up to $8,000 for non-degree programs

Selection Criteria:

• Academic excellence
• Potential to contribute to chosen field
• Commitment to helping women and girls
• Feasibility of completing program of study

Application Requirements

1. Narrative application
2. Two letters of recommendation
3. Proof of degree
4. Official transcripts

Special consideration will be given to applicants serving under-resourced populations and communities or pursuing public interest areas.
