(ii) BOWEN and IGBINEDION accept any other subjects in addition to Literature in English.
WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Communication Studies
The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Communication Studies under the faculty of are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes or equivalent including English Language, Lit. in English, Arts/Music depending on the combination.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UYO requires a P.7 in Mathematics.
(ii) IBADAN requires 5 ‘O’ Level Credits at one sitting or 6 ‘O’ Level Credits at 2 sittings to include English Language, two Arts to include Lit-in-English and any other three or four subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Science [Please note that Government and Economics are not Arts subjects].
(iii) BOWEN requires 5 ‘O’ level Credits to include English Language, Literature in English and any other three Arts or Social Science subjects.T
