JAMB Stops Regularization for Candidates Not Admitted Through CAPS
In a recent announcement, JAMB has declared that ALL admissions for tertiary institutions in Nigeria must be processed through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for the 2024 academic year.
JAMB said it would no longer condone any illegal or irregular admission conducted by any tertiary institution.
The board warned candidates to desist from accepting admissions offered by the institutions without going through the JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) in 2024.
According to JAMB, admissions to first degree, ND, HND, and NCE including full-time, part-time, distance learning, outreach, sandwich, among others must be processed ONLY through JAMB CAPS.
This means no more shortcuts.
JAMB will no longer “regularize” admissions for candidates who bypass the official CAPS system.

What about those graduated before 2024 and are yet to regularize their admissions? Are they also cut down?
