BSU to Commence Admission Into New Courses in 2024 – Benue State University (BSU) has announced that it will commence admission into new courses for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved new programmes in the Faculties of Architecture and Communication and Media Studies at Benue State University, effective from the 2024/2025 academic session.
This expansion offers exciting opportunities for prospective students seeking admission into the university.
Candidates who sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME with relevant subject combinations and aggregate scores are invited to change their institution to Benue State University (as their first choice) and select their preferred programme.
Those who already chose Benue State University as their first choice can also switch to any of the new programmes.

- B.Sc Broadcasting
- B.Sc Development Communication Studies
- Journalism and Media Studies
- B.Sc Public Relations

Entry requirements and UTME subject combinations vary for each faculty.
Interested candidates must possess the required O’Level credits and meet the specified UTME subject combinations.
The deadline for effecting the change is Saturday, 21st September 2024, ahead of the 2024/2025 academic year’s admission exercise.
