The required JAMB subject subject combination for Forestry and Wildlife Management are:
Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Physics or Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) IBBU requires Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(ii) UDUSOK accept Economics or Geography in lieu of Physics/Mathematics
(iii) UNILORIN and MAUTECH require Chemistry,
Physics/ Mathematics and Biology/Agric. Science. UNILORIN accepts Geography in lieu of Physics or Mathematics.
(iv) FUAM requires Chemistry, Biology and any other subject from Physics, Geography, Economics etc.
(v) OOU requires Biology/Agricultural Science and any two of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Economics.
WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Forestry and Wildlife Management
The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Forestry and Wildlife Management under the faculty of are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes in English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and one of Physics, Economics, Further Mathematics and Statistics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNICAL and UNIBADAN require 5 credit passes at one (1) sitting or 6 credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language, Biology/Agric science, Chemistry, Mathematics and any one of Geography, Physics and Economics.
(ii) MOUAU accepts Five O’ level credit Passes in not more than two sittings to include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science and any other science subjects. It also requires at least a Pass in Physics. A Credit in Agricultural Science must be backed up with at least a Pass in Biology.
(iii) RSUST – accepts a pass in English language for candidates with five ‘O’ level credits which include Mathematics and Physics.
(iv) RSUST and MAUTECH require at least a pass in Physics.
(v) FUTO requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Economics. It accepts a Pass in Physics in not more than two sittings.
(vi) UNIBEN accepts Statistics and Further Mathematics. Also requires at least a pass in Physics and a pass in Biology for candidates with a credit pass in Agric. Science.
(vii) DELSU accepts a pass in English Language.
(viii) FED-WUKARI requires five O’ level credit Passes in not more than two sittings to include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science and any of Physics, Geography and Economics.
(ix) MOUAU accepts Five O’ level credit Passes in not more than two sittings to include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science and any other science subjects. It also requires at least a Pass in Physics. A Credit in Agricultural Science must be backed up with at least a Pass in Biology.
(x) UNAAB requires:
a) Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics,Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
b) At least a pass in Physics.
c) Candidates with pass grade in Biology must possess credit pass in Agricultural Science.It does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.
(xi) FUAM requires a minimum of Five `O’ Level credits passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any of Physics, Geography, Economics and Statistics. A credit in Physics can be substituted for Mathematics and vice versa. However, the candidate is expected to have a minimum of pass in the other subject to benefit from the waiver.
(xii) UNILORIN accepts Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.
