KWASU Expels 175 Students for Exam Malpractices

Kwara State University,  (KWASU) has taken a bold step to maintain discipline and academic integrity by expelling 175 students for various offences.

The university’s management announced the expulsion in a statement signed by the acting Director, University Relations, Dr Saeedat Aliyu.

The expelled students were found guilty of offences including examination malpractices, theft, using fake results to gain admission, assault, fraud, belonging to unregistered associations, and illegal possession of a firearm.

The Students’ Disciplinary Committee, which sat between October 2021 and March 2024, recommended the expulsion.

The university’s management reiterated its zero-tolerance for indiscipline, emphasizing its commitment to producing graduates who excel in both character and learning.
