NDU Cut Off Mark 2025/2026 academic session is Out – Niger Delta University JAMB cut off mark and departmental cut off marks for all courses for the 2025/2026 academic session have been announced.
Niger Delta University (NDU) was established in 2000. It’s a state owned institution located on Wilberforce Island in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. The university runs undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across various disciplines. NDU is known for academic excellence and has facilities to support student learning and research.
The university has well equipped laboratories, modern lecture halls, a full library and conducive accommodation for students. These facilities make learning more enjoyable and provide students with the necessary resources to excel in their studies. NDU has qualified and experienced lecturers to impart knowledge and develop critical thinking in students.
Some of the professional courses offered in NDU are Medicine and Surgery, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy and Engineering disciplines. Each programme has its own cut off mark. Please you don’t need to forget that Medicine and Surgery may require higher cut off mark due to its competitiveness.
Meeting the cut off mark is key as it determines eligibility for post-UTME screening which is a step in the admission process. Prospective students should aim to meet or beat these scores to increase their chances of admission.
Choosing NDU as your preferred institution gives you quality education, modern facilities and serene learning environment. The university’s commitment to academic excellence and its location in the Niger Delta region makes it a choice for higher education.
So to get admission into NDU, prospective students must meet the general cut off mark and any departmental cut off mark. And candidates must have the required O’Level credits for their chosen course of study. Meeting these requirements will make the admission process smoother.
If NDU is your first-choice institution, the initial step should be familiarising yourself with the approved admission aggregates for this year.
NDU has different cut off marks for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
In this article, we will list all NDU courses along with their respective cut off marks and explain how NDU determines its marks.

Conclusion
The cut off mark determines which courses you can apply for. Popular courses like Medicine and Law need higher scores because many want them, while less popular courses need lower scores. But it’s not just about the score – you also need to do other things like screening, submit the right documents and meet deadlines.
The cut off mark is determined by a few things – how many people apply, how many spots are available and the school’s rules. For courses with fewer spots like competitive ones, the cut off mark is stricter so you need to do very well to qualify.
Some schools may lower the scores for students from certain places or groups that are underrepresented but nobody gets in without meeting the minimum score.
If you want to have a better chance, aim for a score above the cut off and finish all the requirements on time. Knowing the process will help you set your goals and plan well. If you work hard and prepare, the application process will be easier and you’ll have better chance of getting in.
