Requirements to Enter University in Nigeria in the 2024/2025 Academic Session
To increase your chances of getting admitted, you must meet the following five basic requirements:
- To be eligible to study in Nigeria, you must have a minimum of five (5) credits in your O’Level results, which can be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
- Your O’level must not exceed two (2) sittings.
- Be at least 16 years of age at the time of admission.
- Meet your school’s cut-off mark
- Choose the correct JAMB subject combination
- Have a good JAMB, WAEC, and Post UTME result
How to Gain Admission Without JAMB
Additionally, if you’re a direct entry candidate, having upper credit in your A’level or first/second class degree in a related field can increase your chances of admission.
A good JUPEB or IJMB result is also an added advantage.
