The shutdown, which affects all academic activities, means that lectures and exams slated for Thursday and Friday are cancelled.

The university’s entry gates will be closed, except for the main entrance, which will be heavily guarded by armed security personnel.

Students and staff are advised to avoid the university premises during the protest period.

Only those with approved university ID cards will be allowed entry through the main gate.
