UNICROSS Senate Appoints Acting VC Following Professor Angba’s Suspension.

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has a new acting vice-chancellor.

Professor Stephen Ncha Ochang was appointed Acting Vice Chancellor following the suspension of Professor Augustine Oko Angba.

The University Governing Council suspended Professor Angba during its 52nd Emergency Meeting on May 6th, 2024.

An investigation will be conducted into the management of university funds, specifically subventions and staff salaries from 2020 to 2023.

Professor Angba will be on leave while this investigation takes place.

Accordingly, all Staff, Students and the entire University Community are implored to cooperate with the present leadership for the continued pursuit of University goals.
